MERLIN’S MAGIC AT TINTAGEL

and had just enough time before drinks with John and Irena Mappin and Ted Stourton to take a brisk walk to the headland.

Beautiful evening with the sun setting against the Mombresia – a lily that flourishes in the sometimes harsh and salty Cornish breeze.Good food and warm bed but nothing ever lasts.

A very red spectrum for dawn which was quite a surprise
Had to get up at dawn – not because I am a dedicated photographer – in fact I rarely relish rising. But the pup was sick – and to get sicker as it happened – and starting to … no you actually do not want the details but he could have put a fire out from his bum!

The old monastry church on the landline to Himself...
Anyhow, I ended up taking him outside the Camelot Castle Hotel, into the approaching squall and bumped straight into a Tintagel Rainbow. Very Special so thought it good to share.

Stitched from three images whilst the dog was sick as a ... well, Dog!
